House of Lark is the untold story of Bill and Lyn Lark — the pioneers who reignited Tasmania’s whisky flame after 154 years of silence.

At its heart lies one question: who is the man behind the dream? This documentary traces how a local surveyor and his wife defied outdated laws and bureaucracy to become the first licensed distillers in Tasmania since 1838, sparking a whisky renaissance that would put Australia on the global spirits map.

Known as the “Godfather of Australian Whisky,” Bill Lark inspired a new generation of distillers and built a world-renowned brand from humble beginnings. From the wild landscapes of Tasmania to the copper stills of Lark Distillery, House of Lark captures the passion, perseverance, and pioneering spirit that transformed a personal vision into a national legacy.

An intimate portrait of a father, husband, and trailblazer — House of Lark celebrates the belief that with passion, anything is possible… one dram at a time.

Meriam is an intimate documentary that follows the remarkable life of Meriam Tumisi, a woman whose story is inseparable from the waters of Botswana's Okavango Delta.

Born into a nomadic Bayei family, Meriam spent her childhood travelling by makoro through a labyrinth of islands, following seasonal grazing lands and ancient pathways passed down through generations. Living alongside crocodiles, hippos and elephants, her people developed a profound understanding of one of Africa's last great wildernesses.

As the Delta's ever-changing landscape shaped her life, Meriam's resilience, wisdom and deep connection to her homeland became a testament to a disappearing way of life. Retracing the footsteps of her youth, the film journeys through the breathtaking beauty and rich cultural traditions of the Okavango, revealing the extraordinary story of a woman whose memories are woven into its waters.

More than a journey through a spectacular landscape, Meriam is a celebration of identity, survival and the timeless relationship between people and place—told, at last, in Meriam's own voice.
